Candy Beauchamp and her team over at OffAssist helped me set up my merchant account through Quickbooks. Now my clients can easily pay online–saving them the hassle of writing a check and me the hassle of going to the bank. My 4-year old might miss the lollipops though…
I just realized I haven’t posted for about 3 weeks, which is far too long. My only excuse is that I’ve been phenomenally busy. I’ve edited a learning course for a multi-millionaire, rewrote a workbook for another client, and I have 3 books lined up to edit, which is very exciting.
Prepare for some changes to this website in the next few months. I’m expanding my services to include book editing of all genres, business writing, and book design (interior layout and cover design). I’m busy assembling my team of top professionals, because I certainly can’t handle it all myself! More to come on this later.
I’m trying my hand at developing a PPT presentation for a VA presentation I’m doing at Manchester Community College in Connecticut next month. I’ve never done one before, but I’ve been wanting to learn for a while, so we’ll see how this goes. Of course I know that if PPT turns out not to be a strength of mine, I can hire one of my colleagues over at IVAA and DVVAA to fix it!
I’m waiting for a spring thaw. Last Tuesday we were slammed by a winter storm. Snow is manageable, a thick layer of ice is 10 times worse. School was cancelled for the rest of the week. We’ve all got a bit of cabin fever, but hopefully this was winter’s last hurrah!
