Billy Graham transcription

What an experience! I had the opportunity of a lifetime to transcribe Billy Graham’s last crusade, thanks to Penguin Putnam. Joel Fotinos called me and the rest is history. I spent 4 nights in NYC and spent much of it working. I am amazed how nice and how helpful everyone was at Penguin Putnam. I am truly impressed with them. Anytime a slight challenge was encountered, we were able to quickly resolve it together.

And Billy Graham himself, I had never heard him before, but I can see why he is so revered and loved by his followers. He struck me as being very honest, fair, and non-judgemental–not to mention a great public speaker. I truly feel honored to be a part of his last crusade.

I stayed at the Novotel in NYC. It’s a French hotel and I would venture to guess that for 75% of the people I encountered there, English was not their first language. It felt like I was in Europe! Kinda neat. I also saw the musical, Rent, which was phenomenal. And “Frenchie” from one of the American Idol seasons was in it. She has an excellent voice, as did the rest of the cast. I loved it.

So now I’m back to catching up on other projects: editing, proofreading, internet research and realtor support. Time to get back to work!
